失智衝擊大！台灣人求助失智症關懷專線 5年多4倍

藝人謝祖武最近在電視劇中以精湛演技詮釋一位工作、家庭美滿，卻罹患早發性家族遺傳阿茲海默症的中年患者，讓不少人藉此對失智症有了更深刻的體認及了解，謝祖武今（5）日公益代言失智症關懷專線，談起高齡88歲的母親已失智7年，雖忍不住紅了眼眶，但仍以親身陪伴經驗向病友及家屬喊話希望大家不要覺得孤單。
謝祖武強調，失智症對一個家庭的衝擊很大，尤其失智者的主要照顧者更是辛苦，在母親罹病之後，他對失智症有了更多的體認，十分樂意擔任「失智友善大使」，希望大家覺得不孤單，因為很多人都有一樣的經歷，他也呼籲政府該投入更多經費在失智者家庭。
衛福部與台灣失智症協會合作提供的失智症關懷專線服務（0800-474-580失智時，我幫您），目前提供一天12小時的失智症電話諮詢服務，就是希望能協助失智家庭獲得資源並解決困境，以提升失智者及家屬的生活品質。
台灣失智症協會理事長賴德仁指出，失智症關懷專線服務由社工、護理、心理等專業人員提供專業諮詢服務，服務已上線超過10年，去年就有6660通諮詢電話，相較5年前，成長了4倍。
個案追蹤部分，目前一年也有近3000筆諮詢數，眼見需求越來越大，專線服務時間已由過去一天8小時，增加到一天12小時，每周一至五上午9點至晚上9點提供電話諮詢服務。
賴德仁說，民眾來電，就醫、照顧以及資源是最常問的3大類問題，不少人甚至劈頭就問家人疑似失智了，要看什麼科？不願就醫怎麼辦？而隨著高齡化社會的來臨，失智症人口快速上升，這支專線的存在更是不可或缺，可即時解決民眾問題，減輕心理上的壓力。
